Our Process
Eight steps from the first call to warranty paperwork, with a realistic view of the weeks in the middle when you have no countertops.
Call Or Message
Tell us roughly what you have in mind and where you are. We ask a few questions and book a consultation, usually within the week.
In Home Consultation
We measure the kitchen properly, look at how you use it, bring samples and talk budget honestly. This visit is free and takes about an hour.
Design
You receive a layout, a 3D view and a materials plan. We revise it until it is right, because changing a drawing costs nothing and changing a built cabinet costs plenty.
Three Quotes
One kitchen, three budget levels, all written and itemized with allowances named. You choose the level, and we explain exactly what changes between them.
Order & Lead Time
Cabinets and counters ordered once you approve. We give you real lead times, including the ones you will not like, and track every delivery.
Demolition & Prep
Floors and pathways protected, old kitchen removed, and any plumbing or electrical rough in completed before cabinets arrive.
Install
Cabinets set and leveled, counters templated and installed, backsplash, sink, hardware and lighting. Site cleaned at the end of every working day.
Walkthrough & Warranty
We walk the finished kitchen with you, adjust every door and drawer, fix the punch list, then hand over care instructions and warranty paperwork.
Living Through It
The honest version of a kitchen remodel
Nobody enjoys the middle. What makes it bearable is knowing in advance exactly how long each stage takes and what you will and will not have access to.
- Days 1 to 2. Demolition. Loud, dusty, and the old kitchen leaves. Water is off for part of it.
- Days 3 to 5. Any rough in work, drywall repair and paint. Quieter, and you can usually be home.
- Week 2. Cabinets set and leveled. This is the day the kitchen suddenly looks like a kitchen again.
- Week 2 to 3. Counters templated after cabinets are in, then fabricated. This is the wait, typically 7 to 12 days with no counters or sink.
- Week 3 to 4. Counters installed, sink and faucet connected, backsplash tiled, hardware and lighting fitted.
- Final days. Adjustments, touch ups, punch list and final clean.
We set up a temporary kitchen zone with the microwave, coffee maker and fridge accessible, because three weeks without coffee is not a plan.

Process Questions
Good to know before we start
Why do counters take so long?
Countertops cannot be templated until the cabinets are installed and level, because a quarter inch of variation ruins the fit. Templating, fabrication and installation then takes 7 to 12 business days. It is the single longest gap in the project and it cannot be shortened by ordering earlier.
Can I use my kitchen at all during the work?
Partially. You lose the sink and counters for roughly two weeks on a full replacement. We set up a temporary zone with your fridge, microwave and coffee maker, and we talk through where that goes at the consultation.
What happens if you find damage behind the cabinets?
Water damage behind sink bases is common in older kitchens. We stop, photograph it, price the repair and get your written approval before continuing. You are never billed for work you did not approve.
Do you handle the appliances?
We coordinate around them and install most of them. Gas connections and hard wired appliances are handled by licensed trades. We need your appliance model numbers before cabinets are ordered, since panel sizes and clearances depend on them.
What if a cabinet arrives damaged?
It happens. We inspect everything on delivery, photograph any damage, file the claim and order the replacement immediately. We will tell you the same day and adjust the schedule honestly rather than hoping you will not notice.
Do you work on condos?
Yes, frequently. Condos add HOA approval, elevator reservations and work hour restrictions, all of which we plan around. Get the association paperwork started early, since it is often the longest lead time in the project.
